Another Good-hearted Dental Practice

Dr. Lazear was featured yesterday for his charitable habits of offering free dental services to his community. Since good people deserve the spotlight, here’s another practice in Savannah doing a similar day of service. These are the kind of patriots that make our Nation great and deserve the gratitude of citizens everywhere. Howard Dental Group was featured by the Savannah Morning News to help raise awareness. Said the news:

One of the area’s largest dental clinics will offer free cleanings, fillings and extractions Friday in an effort to treat people who can’t afford such services.

Staff at Howard Dental Group are expecting hundreds to turn out Friday for the business’ third annual “Dentistry From the Heart” clinic at Pooler Family Dental, 91 Brighton Woods Drive, off Highway 80 in Pooler.

More than 50 Howard Dental employees will participate, including eight dentists, 12 hygienists, 15 assistants and 16 administrative team members.

Wow! 50 staff members participating. That’s a lot of missed revenue for this dental practice and a lot of people helped…all in the name of goodness.

Good Samaritans Never Go Out of Style

We tip our hats to this good Samaritan who is giving back to his community with free dental work. Of his service to people in his state Dr. Lazear says:

“It’s something I look forward to every year,” Lazear said. “I’m helping people who really need it, and there’s a sense of belonging, being on the team that provides the service. There’s just a general good feeling down there.”

We salute you Dr. Lazear!
